Youth Council


WHO WE ARE
The Smoky Lake Youth Council (SLYC) is a youth-led, volunteer-based organization. Youth are empowered to organize youth-focused events/workshops, volunteer in the community, and of course - have fun!

Our Vision: A place where every teen belongs and every voice can be heard. Together we grow in leadership, confidence, and capability.

As part of SLYC youth are given the opportunity to participate in:

Skill Development (Leadership skills, teamwork, fundraising)

SLYC meets the second Tuesday of every month, from 6:00pm-8:00pm and the fourth Wednesday of every month from 4:00pm-6:00pm. The council runs October - June (excluding statutory holidays). It will be hosted at the FCSS office at 108 Wheatland Ave (backdoor) unless otherwise posted.
