Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVTIP)

Need help with your taxes? CRA-trained volunteers helps eligible taxpayers who do not know how to prepare their income tax and benefit returns, and who have low to modest income and a simple tax situation. This is a free service that runs throughout March and April.
Eligibility Criteria:

Single person with an annual income of $35,000 or less

Couple without dependents combined income of $45,000 or less
-
Single Adult with dependents combined income of $35,000 or less
-
Individual with less than $1,000 investment income
Please note, the program does not complete returns with income from: farming, rental, capital gains, deceased persons, bankruptcies, business, self employed, fishing or interest over $1000.
