MEALS ON WHEELS
Program Overview:
The Meals on Wheels Program provides nutritious, hot meals to seniors and individuals who need assistance (new moms, individuals with impairments, people after surgery, etc.). The program has limited availability, and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Subsidy per meal may be available (ask us for details).Hot meals are prepared by The Blackbeary Eatery and delivered to clients’ homes within the Town of Smoky Lake on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Clients may choose to receive meals on 1, 2, or all 3 delivery days each week, and may order multiple meals per day. However, the subsidy applies to only one meal per delivery day.
